The first Model OSCE Serbia was held on 2nd and 3rd March 2009 at Palace of Serbia in Belgrade. About 80 university students from throughout Serbia played the roles of the OSCE participating States delegations, OSCE officials and NGOs that were relevant to the environmental topics discussed. PrepCom Meetings took place in Belgrade on 13th and 14th February 2009 at the Headquarters of the OSCE Mission to Serbia.  The first PrepCom Meeting was held at 15:00 on Friday, 13th February. PRESS RELEASE In the OSCE Mission Headquarters in Belgrade on the 12th of January 2008, a Preparatory Committee Meeting was held for Model OSCE Serbia 2009. About 40 participants were at the meeting, where they met facilitators and had a chance to be introduced to the diplomatic way of speaking. First consultation took place in Belgrade on 19th and 20th December at Hotel Slavija. During the two days the participants met the facilitators and had a chance to talk with representatives of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and Zikic Foundation Belgrade. 13th November - At yesterday`s meeting of the Model OSCE`s Coordination Board, it was decided that the deadline for applications will be extended until 30th November, in order to allow as many students as possible to apply.  In response to a number of enquiries, the Call will also be extended to students enrolled at private faculties and universities throughout Serbia.   more

4th November 2008 - Representatives of the Žikić Fond and the OSCE Mission to Serbia, respectively, held a promotion of the Model OSCE Serbia 2009 at the Faculty of Political Science (FPS) in Belgrade. The presentation was hosted by the UN Club and the Debate Club of the FPS, with the support of the Dean’s Office. Members of several other organizations active within the FPS also attended.
