The inaugural Model OSCE Serbia 2009, jointly developed by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Serbia and Žikić Fond, provides university students from throughout Serbia with the opportunity to experience first hand the negotiations and compromises of international-style diplomacy.
Each participant will be assigned to represent one of the OSCE`s 56 member states in a session of the OSCE Permanent Council. The theme of this year`s Model OSCE will be related to environmental protection and sustainable development.
Students attending state and private universities throughout Serbia are encouraged to
apply, particularly women and members of minority groups.
